Hi, Youtube TV streams local channels through the internet. If you want to access local channels another way, then you will need to purchase and antenna and connect it to the TV. ~Samsung Advisor
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It all depends on what local channels you want. I have always had an external antenna in my attic for channels that YouTube does not have. The one thing i have learned is that you pay for YouTube and you get a lot of unwanted channels and you really only watch a few. I have since cancelled youtube and use the apps for what I want to watch. There are a lot of channels on abc, cbs, and nbc that are free or you can watch a few days later. I do not care if i cannot see it on the originating day.
