Hi nikracine, The Samsung CU8000 TV offers a built-in app store with hundreds of apps available for download! You can, however, keep your device and use it on your new TV. ~Samsung Advisor
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You shouldn't need the Roku device. Most known steaming platforms have an App on the store already. If not you can easily cast them from your phone if needed (very unlikely)

Please try again later.I cannot answer for the Roku, but I had a Fire Cube to connect to this TV and did not need it, the apps are easy to download onto the TV, and we have pretty much all streaming services, from Max to Hulu, all work without an additional device.
