“The specs on this say full array local dimming and VRR. Is that accurate? Higher-end models like the Q60 are edge-lit, with no local dimming and no VRR, so I find it very strange that a lower-end model would have it.”

• Hi James, We apologize for any confusion; the DU7200 does not have Full Array Local Dimming or VRR. You can find VRR on the 85" DU8000 TV and above. Direct Full Array is available on our Q80D TV Series. ~Samsung Advisor

• Yeah this TV is not a full array local dimming. According to an online Samsung rep it is a direct backlit TV and their "local dimming" is simply Samsung's proprietary UHD Dimming Algorithm.
