“How do you turn this TV off? The user manual says to hold down the power button, but when we do that it just goes black for a moment and then turns back on. We can do it with the button on the TV but can't get it to turn off at all with the remote.”

• You may have a defective remote control. This TV model has a simpler version of the remote control compared to more expensive models. If TV is still under warranty, call Samsung customer service for help, if not you can get an inexpensive replacement at Walmart or Amazon.
