Unfortunately no. True 120hz refresh rate is hardware regulated and Samsungs "Motion Rate 120" is done in onboard post processing. If you want true 120hz refresh rate TV you will pay more for it. Do some homework before you decide which technology serves you best for your application and pocketbook. Great question by the way.
