“Does this model have pause capability for cable or live broadcast tv shows?”

• I am not absolutely sure. I know I have paused during a live football game and when I resumed watching it brought me to where the action was at that moment. If I had previously been recording that game, it definitely resumed at where I had previously paused it. I hope this helped a little. Tiger 84
