Hi KC, the uniquely designed Serif can either sit on a shelf or table use its metal stands anywhere in your room. If there is a possibility that children may tip it over, you may want to consider placing it high enough to minimize that risk. ^Val

Please try again later.Unfortunately the Serif can’t be secured and mine developed a major safety issue whereby the weight of the TV caused the outer casing to crack and the screen to become a falling hazard within its frame. Samsung have been nothing but unhelpful in regards to this, I believe they know there is a major design safety issue and therefore they are unwilling to accept liability. They attempted to repair it, but the TV was returned in an even more unstable condition. My opinion would be to avoid the Serif TV in a pet or children home, as it’s proven to be a hazard for us.
