- Answer Hi QMan, the matte you see around the picture in the Frame TV is a virtual matte you can customize to compliment the art when it is in Art Mode. When you are watching TV, the matte will disappear. ^Val

QuestionIs the 2021 43" The Frame TV compatible with the 2020 model slim wall mount? Or has the wall mount changed for 2021?

- Answer Very important to know, the mount system included with the 43" is different than 50" and up. All the videos online for 2021 installs show the mount the came with larger TVs.

QuestionIf I want to wall mount, using an electrical outlet on the wall behind the tv, can I just plug into the tv back, or do I need to use the One Connect at all? Assuming I just use the smart features without cable or inputs other than electricity?

- Answer Hi TLC1, you will need to use the One Connect Box with the Frame TV for power even if you do not need to connect any other devices to the connection ports. ^Val

QuestionCan we display gif or simple animations in the art mode? I’d like to have a mostly still image with a few movements like trees swaying to wind to create a live feeling, for example like a window to a rainforest.

- Answer Hi Naya, The Frame TV comes with the Slim Fit Wall Mount and accessories for mounting. Hardware required will depend on the type of building material such as drywall, concrete, ceramic tile, brick, etc. Be sure to use appropriate wall mounting hardware for the type of wall you have. ^Val

QuestionMy contractor is wondering if he can mount the One Connect box on the other side of the wall which is in my garage. We are wondering if this box can withstand different temperatures. Its an attached garage and its insulated but not temp controlled.

- Answer WP502 - Please first ensure you are utilizing the in-wall One Connect cable (Model VG-SOCR86U/ZA), as the included One Connect cable is not rated for in-wall installation. When installing your TV and One Connect Box, please maintain a distance of at least 4 inches between the One Connect Box with other objects (walls, cabinet sides, etc.) to ensure proper ventilation. The Operating Temperature ranges from 50 °F to 104 °F; Storage Temperature ranges from -4 °F to 113 °F. ^Gina

- Answer It connects via single optical cable to the OneConnect box, same as in last year’s model (and before). If this bothers you, there are other 4K Samsung TVs with built-in ports that are just as thin.

QuestionDoes the frame around the actual TV come with the purchase or is that purchased separately? The current frame looks thin on the TV I just received. I previously purchased this same size (in Canada) and it came with a thicker gallery frame.

- Answer Hi David! The Frame TV comes with a black frame. This black frame cannot be removed. The Customizable Bezels sold separately are attached directly on top of the black frame and come in Modern Brown, Modern Teak, and Modern White. ^Gina
