“Is this TV considered a flat screen TV or a flat panel TV?”

• It is technically a FLAT PANEL TV. People often refer to new LCD Flat Panel TVs as "Flat Screen" but while they do have a flat screen (unless they are curved) that is technically INCORRECT. The newer LCD TVs which are only 2-6 inches deep are FLAT PANEL TVs. I used to own a Samsung 32" Flat Screen TV, it used a CRT, but the screen was Flat instead of curved so it was called a "Flat Screen TV", but that thing was more than 2-feet deep.
