• Yes this tv can be used without cabke service. 4k blue ray, antenna. Netflix, Roku, and others if you have a high speed internet connection. Also gaming os4 pro, xbox one x look awsome on this tv.

• I do not have cable service to this tv but I watch Netflix and Amazon prime. I also have an Apple TV hooked up and all services work great.
