No, this smart TV remote does not have number buttons.

The remote does not have number buttons. At first I thought this would be a turn off for me as the remote can control most of your other components once plugged into the TV. After having the TV for 2 full weeks, I'm very impressed with the small remote. With the limited buttons I can easily control my receiver and 4K Blu-Ray player - and I've come to enjoy the small form factor and simplicity of it. The TV's primary function is a giant PC monitor, and I do not use normal cable set-top boxes or other TV devices, so what you need out of a remote may vary by user. I still keep my receiver remote and blu-ray remotes handy though as the TV remote does not control all functions of other devices; only the ones most used for daily function. Over all though, the remote is better than expected, but it might not fit everyone's needs. The TV is fantastic though, and a great value for the product...especially if you can find an "open-box" from Best Buy.
