• i belive the diffrence is one is curved an one is not or that it is one 4k one is standard hd last year model

• The TVs are very similar, but there are small differences. The 49MU800D, usually found at warehouse clubs, will have a slightly different color cabinet and has a lower brightness rating of 470 Nits HDR sustained brightness vs. 500 Nits on the 49MU8000. I've read that Samsung typically does not make available all of their apps for the "D" models, such as HBO Go, but I've not been able to confirm. In general, you're probably not going to see much, if any of a difference in picture.
