• The TV is indeed 42.7 inches wide. With the stand it is 28 inches high. All of the cable connections are on the back of the set.

• The TV with the legs on is 28 inches tall and 42.7 inches wide, without the legs it's 25 inches tall. Yes, all cable hookups are in the back of the TV.
