“Is there a component I can purchase that will allow me to hook up old analog DVD player to this TV? I realize the visual quality won't improve, but am not clear if I can hook up my old DVD player to this TV with some special component?”

• You will need a RCA to HDMI converter. Make sure its RCA-> HDMI and not the opposite.

• If the set come with HDMI the you could hook up to one mini control that comes with tv.
