“would this 49 inch tv fit on a 40 inch stand or are the feet to wide apart”

• I just measured my TV. The feet span 38 7/8 inches, so it will fit on a 40" stand with 1/2 inch to spare on each side. The width of the TV is 43" so it will overlap the stand by about 2" on each side. It's a very good TV; it works flawlessly with my AT&T UVERSE and high-speed internet.

• The feet are about 39 inches wide, so it would probably just barely fit.
