Doesn't have local dimming. Is that an issue? null

If you are talking about the brightness we saw that the different settings for movie or standard make the picture dimmer. It is a nice bright tv and can tend to hurt your eyes if you don't have enough light in the room. But you can dim it by choosing those 2 settings. We didn't like them so much though. Love the picture!

It has limited local dimming but it hasn't been an issue with this tv.
