Hi Lucy, While we haven’t received our unit yet (arrives in a week) we asked the same question at the store. The Best Buy rep was extremely helpful and said it would accommodate a king size comforter. He further stated that the washing machine would be able to extract enough water from the comforter during the spin cycle to allow for more efficient drying. I hope this helps. We have high hopes for our unit.
