Hi MargoW, Thank you for reaching out and we hope you are in good health. We are happy that you are interested in Samsung home appliances. Height of the washer is 38 3/4". The matching dryers (DVE50A8800V, DVG50A8800V), have the same height. 38 3/4". The stacking kit only adds like a 1/2" at best to the height. In all, it is basically replacing the feet on the dryer with the kit to allow the dryer to slide back to brackets and sit on top of the washer with a nice curve of the spacers so it doesn't fall off the washer.
