Great questions, Chivo! This washer actually has two matching dryers, an electric version, model: DVE50R8500V/A3, and a gas version, model: DVG50R8500V/A3. Either of these dryers can be stacked with this washer using stacking kit model: SKK-8K. It is important to note that the dryer will need to be placed on top. This is due to the added weight in the washer when it is filled with water. ^Jecca

I have been waiting for this dryer since August and the shipment keeps getting delayed. However the folks at Bestbuy have been very helpful in proving with a interim dryer which I had to purchase until I get this one which I can return at no cost. Usually the dryer is the one that goes on the top.
