QuestionWhat is the depth from the wall to the LID? My cabinets are technically too low for a top loader, and come out 12 inches from the wall, but searches have led me to believe that there might be enough depth to still open the lid and rest against cabinets.

QuestionDoes this have the low water option? Currently, I am using the Whirlpool Cabrio which is great since I am on a well. It uses very little water depending on the load size.

QuestionIs there a specific drain pan that should be used (or not used) with this washer? I just returned a washer from a different manufacturer because it stopped working after 2 weeks. They said it broke because a part was rubbing against the drain pan..?

- Answer I have had this washer for over a year...not a fan. I bought a top loader so that I could continue to soak my whites overnight. But I have found that because of the sensors of this machine it barely puts enough water in the drum to wet the clothes littles less soak them. I have been struggling with this since I have made the purchasw and wish I had made a different choice. And whether Samsung recommends how you wash your clothing and soaking them...it's none of their business. Their business is to provide you the features to get the job done that you want to get done. If you want to soak your clothing...make sure you talk to the salesperson about it first and ask the question. Do not assume that because it's a top loader and not a front loader that you can wash your clothing the same as you have in the past. I won't be buying another Samsung washer/dryer in the future.

QuestionHow long is a standard wash cycle

- Answer The normal cycle is like 1hr 20 mins. Different setting have different times. Heavy soiled or bedding is like 2hr quick wash 45 mins. If you add softener adds a little more time. Overall great machine.
