Hay Jeff; I was going to do the same thing with my rear channel speakers, I ran wires through my walls but my old speakers were near the ceiling and the Samsung rear speakers are designed to be a head level. As long as you don’t reverse the polarity it should not be an issue. The rear speakers are driven from a wireless receiver that I plugged into a wall outlet behind my couch and I but the speakers on the end tables and this works well for me. Hope that helps. Brian S.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Jeff! The rear speakers included with the HW-Q850A connect to a wireless transmitter module. To connect to this module, the wires have a connector made specifically for the transmitter, you will not be able to connect speaker wire direct to the module. ^Tim
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The cable that connects the subwoofer to the rear speakers have a plastic connector made for direct connection from the subwoofer to the rear speakers and also right to left orientation. You would have tp splice in between the subwoofer side of the plastic plug and the rear speakers plastic connector.
