“My brand new Q850T says that the sound bar is an alex as well. But when using Smartthing to try and set up the alex, it say sorry not at this time after I click Allow to link to my account.. What they heck? What do I need to do.”

Hi there, Some functionality can be more challenging when the soundbar is going through a firmware update, particularly when first being set up. Try entering the Alexa account by following the instructions on the SmartThings app and then you should be able to log into the service. ^Scott
