“I currently have 2 rear speakers mounted on my 10' ceiling behind my couch. Could the rear speakers with this soundbar replace my existing ceiling speakers and be used with this soundbar? Also, can I get rid of my existing front left and front right?”

The satellite speakers with this system aren't very loud at all, they serve their purpose at close range on stands behind my sectional but that's about it. As for your fronts, you wont need them...the soundbar and sub are very powerful and prove to be an excellent combination. The satellites are my only dissatisfaction.

Please try again later.Hi GmanHB, the rear speakers need to be wired to the wireless sending unit included in the HW-Q850 box (typically placed behind a couch, etc.), so if the wiring and mounts allow it, they can replace the speakers mounted on your ceiling. The sound bar has left and right channels, so you can play either the sound bar, or your existing system, not both at the same time which would make your existing left and right channels redundant.
