• As long as your TV has an HDMI-ARC or an optical out port then it should work perfectly

• Dandal, yes, the HW-Q850T Soundbar is compatible with a Philips 5000 Series TV - you can connect the Soundbar via HDMI; however, your TV will need to have an HDMI eARC port to be able to pass through Dolby Atmos content. Please check your TV's User Manual to see if your HDMI port(s) support eARC. ^Gina
