Hi there, Good thing you asked for the setting for hand wash fabrics on this washer. This washer has a delicate cycle for sheer fabrics, bras, lingerie (silk), and other handwash-only fabrics. There is no manual labor involved. Just use liquid detergents for the best performance. Have a great day. Melardo

Not 100% sure, but there is a water spout and button at top of tub and you could use that to hand wash. Also, you could possibly download a "handwash" cycle using the Samsung Smart Things app. Scan the QR code on the front of your machine. There is a delicates cycle as well.
