• Yes, it is entirely up to you whether you want to connect to wi-fi or not. I personally did not, because I have no use for being able to remotely operate the machine. You would have to install the app on your phone in order to do that, so if you don't install it, no problem. The washer runs just fine without wi-fi connection.
