QuestionCan you turn off the child guard lock? And how do you get the spin only cycle to work?

- Answer Hi there, I can answer that for you. To disengage the Child Lock feature, press and hold Temp. and Rinse buttons down at the same time then hold until the Icon is no longer illuminated. To run the Spin Only cycle, press Spin for 3 seconds. When the cycle time and spinning speed appear, press Spin repeatedly until a desired spinning speed is selected. Then, press and hold Start/Pause (Hold to Start) to start the cycle. The spinning time depends on the selected cycle. Thank you for choosing Samsung. ^Brad

- Answer You can use any detergent pod in this washer. But (referring to other answer) you are never supposed to put pods into the detergent dispensers. Dispenser is for liquid/powder detergents. Pods are to always be tossed directly in washer.

QuestionCan you let the water start to fill, add a powder additive to the water, and then put in your clothing after the additive starts to mix with water? Or do you have to put all your clothing in first before you can start anything?

- Answer You can use the “stain remover” water feature which adds a small stream of water if you want to use it for targeted stain remover but otherwise you can’t fill it with the lid open.

QuestionHi, We just had over washer and dryer delivered 2 days ago. They are beautiful, but when it starts to aggitate it sounds like its grinding and we have to shut the laundry room door. Is that normal?

- Answer No specific hand wash cycle. It does have a delicate cycle and the book recommends using mesh laundry bags for delicate items. I was disappointed and had just assumed there would be a hand wash option. Hope that helps.

QuestionJust bought & our clothes starting having the worst mildew smell that ive never experienced before. If we do a deep fill it seems to be a little better but I don’t always have time for a two-hour wash cycle. Anyone else? We switch to dryer right away.

QuestionMy wash time is usually much longer than the timer says, even on empty. Some cycles do the right amount of time, the same load on another cycle will not. Not enough words for my explanation. I know about weight distribution and like clothes.

- Answer we purchased the 800 and got the got the lesser one and it did not have steam or the all stainless steel tub.

- Answer No agitator, at least in the conventional sense. The stainless steel drum is large and completely open. A large oscillating disk built into the drum base does the work. Dryer also has SS drum.

- Answer Depends on the cycle, machine weights the clothing and choose the amount of water to be used. Or you can select the deep fill water which will fully submerge the clothes under water.

- Answer I have not tried this yet, sometimes with technology if you unplug and replug the item in it will rest itself and hopefully work correctly for you.
