Q: Can you turn off the child guard lock? And how do you get the spin only cycle to work?
A: Hi there, I can answer that for you. To disengage the Child Lock feature, press and hold Temp. and Rinse buttons down at the same time then hold until the Icon is no longer illuminated. To run the Spin Only cycle, press Spin for 3 seconds. When the cycle time and spinning speed appear, press Spin repeatedly until a desired spinning speed is selected. Then, press and hold Start/Pause (Hold to Start) to start the cycle. The spinning time depends on the selected cycle. Thank you for choosing Samsung. ^Brad
Q: Does it have a rinse only feature?

A: Yes it does need electricity to power the unit.
Q: Can you use Tide pods in this washer?
A: You can use any detergent pod in this washer. But (referring to other answer) you are never supposed to put pods into the detergent dispensers. Dispenser is for liquid/powder detergents. Pods are to always be tossed directly in washer.
Q: Can you add more clothes once the cycle has started?
A: Great question, Cemoto! You can pause the cycle to add or remove items any time the Garment+ icon is lit up. This icon looks like a t-shirt with a plus sign (+). ^Jecca
A: You can use the “stain remover” water feature which adds a small stream of water if you want to use it for targeted stain remover but otherwise you can’t fill it with the lid open.
A: No, that is not normal. Sounds like there is a problem with the machine.
Q: Does this washing machine have a hand wash setting?
A: No specific hand wash cycle. It does have a delicate cycle and the book recommends using mesh laundry bags for delicate items. I was disappointed and had just assumed there would be a hand wash option. Hope that helps.
