I am using this unit on filtered and softened well water and it appears to be working fine. Truly there will be no way to tell how Long it will hold up until a few years from now. Typically front loaders have a piece that attaches and supports the drum that fails from the harsh water and detergents. This unit has a direct drive motor that should prevent this failure as it does not have the same construction.

The WF56H9100AG should work fine as long as your water supply has a pressure rating of 20-116 psi and is installed properly. I would suggest checking with a plumber to ensure the water softener and filter is sufficiently removing minerals that may tend to damage water lines. - Ms. Samsung
