Q: small loads
A: It does fine with smaller and normal loads, as the water level is adjusted to accommodate the decrease in volume. Your laundry will finish faster with the reduced loads, too.
Q: can we control water level in it i like to use full water level
A: The WF56H9100AG and other Samsung HE Washers automatically detect the size of the load based on its weight and fill accordingly. Other factors that affect the water level include which cycles and options are selected. For example, selecting Speed Spray will not only help to reduce the cycle time without compromising performance, but it also adds an additional gallon of hot water to the typical cycle, which uses about 13-15 gallons of water per cycle. A: A very quite washer, you have to check to make sure it has started washing.
Q: What is the overall heights if the dryer door and controls when stacked
A: Are you asking if the dryer stacked on top of the washer? It is 7' 1"
Q: Height with matching pedestal
A: 53 7/8" high is how high this washer and dryer is with pedestals. We just barely got them under our cabinets, but we did! Love them!

Q: Does this washing machine require buying a base?
A: It's not required but I think it is helpful. Because it is a front loader it is very low without the base sometimes making small articles difficult to reach.
Q: Can the washer and dryer be stacked in any level of the house (upstairs)?
A: I have mine stacked on the first floor, not the basement
