QuestionWhat is the real difference between this and the Chef's Collection model--other than the dividing oven on the Chef's Coll. -- Is that model really worth almost an extra $1000??? I'm torn between ordering between the two. Help choosing Appreciated!

- Answer Really great question ! Notice there is no response and that alone should be a moment of pause. A lot of reviews these days are from "verified members "and are buddy-buddy with website and hence evaluate accordingly. Frankly, in my opinion , the chef collection is nothing more than different handles and a stove divider . Also , If I'm not mistaken, I believe the Chef collection has just recently been discontinued by Samsung. ( most consumers are seeing what you are seeing) Marketing is powerful stuff ! Good luck. F

QuestionDoes the oven require induction cookware? Will the top burners work without using induction cookware?

- Answer You either need to purchase/use induction cookware or buy Induction adapter plates. They are usually stainless steel and can be purchased lots of places for little $. These go on the cooktop underneath your old cookware. Make sure to get the right size(s). Do a magnet test on your cookware to see if the magnet sticks to the bottom of your pans. If it does they will work with induction cooktops.

QuestionWe will be replacing a 5 year old Samsung 30” range with the NE58K9560WS. We hope to shut off the gas valve at the back of the cutout in the cabinetry and leave it. Is there a cavity or open area in the back of the stove to accomodate the valve?

QuestionExactly how tall is this unit? On the spec sheet on Samsung it says 36 - 36 3/4. I figure the unit is 36 tall and you can adjust the height higher? Another user answered a question and her stove/countertop is 35.5. Can you lower the unit from 36"?

QuestionWhen using a silicone induction mat the range shuts off why is that? We bought Lazy K mats to use so pans would not slip or scratch the top of the range.

- Answer Hi Mats! The Induction elements can only be turned on when cookware with a magnetic base is placed on one of the cooking zones. Having a mat or pad in between the cookware and burner breaks the magnetic connection which turns the burner off. ^Jecca

- Answer Mine is on a 40 amp circuit. If you have less than this amperage- contact Samsung. They will be able to tell you if you can use less.

- Answer The range will accommodate a four wire and a three wire range plug. A plate unscrews on the back of the range to access the wires.
