• Yes, well you don't turn it off. There are two different bake buttons, one with convection and one without. (notice in the picture the fan icon for the Bake button and the button without the the fan icon).

• Yes just a touch of a button is all it takes. You can cook in regular or convection.

• Why would you bother to shut off the Convection feature, that is wonderful about this oven. You also have a regular bake feature, what is wrong with having bake and also a convection bake and roast. Your option to not use the Convection feature if you choose not too, just use the conventional bake and broil feature.

• Yes, although you don't really shut off convection, but you choose the 'type' of cooking you want--convection or regular bake.
