“We just purchased this model. The top get unbelievably hot when the oven is only on 350. I can't move the griddle without a hot pad from the oven heat.I can't imagine I can work on the stove top if the oven is on. Wondering if the burner needs adjusting.”

Well there are two kinds of baking buttons. One button is to activate the fan and another isn't. If you use one with fan, it will release more heating out but that's for if you cook more than one pan in oven.
