Needed to have a Samsung service person out for a different reason but he mentioned that most of his calls are for control board issues -- like this one. BB can give you the phone number to call for service. I recommend you do that even if you don't have extended warranty. I'm not suggesting you pay for service, call to see if they will send someone out for free.

I've found unresponsive buttons occur because the button I tried wasn't the appropriate button.
