• I haven't noticed the display panel getting hot during oven use on the Samsung. I haven't touched the stainless steel part, but the actual display does not get hot. I had a Whirlpool that I exchanged for this Samsung and the Whirlpool display did get hot and the handle got hot too when using the oven.
