Yes, this is definitely a flaw. Wish the knob controls had a lock to prevent the problem. That said, best convection range I have ever owned.

I can't tell you how many times we have come in the kitchen over the last four years and there was a random burner on, or the oven was on or locked or cleaning all by itself. We bought four different sets of knob covers trying to get some big enough to prevent more accidents. The best we could find only slightly helped, and you had to remove the covered knob from the stove, remove the safety cover, and replace it again anytime time you walk away while cooking. If you dig on the internet, more than a few people have had fires or severe burns due to the ease and placement of the controls. Some people have made themselves a guard covering all the controls because house guests have just leaned back on the stove while chatting. They walk away and don't even realize they turned a knob.
