“I have a Samsung Stove model NE58F9710WS and the display continually stays on all the time asking to Select Cavity. How do I have the display turn off when not needed? Thanks”

After 2 minutes without activity (or one minute when the oven is operating in standby mode), the control panel will turn to sleep mode (display will turn off). Please try again later.I have the same model, and the display turns off in 2-3 minutes whether the door is open or closed, the separator tray is in or out, or even partly pulled out. I've only had it a couple of weeks, but haven't had any problems. Maybe the computer inside yours got loaded incorrectly -- I would first try pulling the plug for a minute, then re-plug and try again. If that doesn't help, call the Geek squad...
