My range is approximately same age as yours. I have no idea about the size or depth of your scratch but can tell you I use Weiman Cook Top Cleaner for mine; spray, wipe with paper towels and then buff with another clean paper towels. Some use a paste of baking soda and water and buff the areas; I have been extremely cautious to avoid scooting any pot or skillet on the cook top and I use cast iron which is not recommended; this is my second glass top and haven't had deep scratches.
