QuestionI just bought this and tried to use the convection oven bake mode and it started producing a horrible fume once it warmed up. Just wondering if anyone encountered this? This is my first time using the baking mode. The stovetop works fine as expected.

- Answer Did you read your owners manual? Any new range has lots of oils and chemicals in the oven cavity from the manufacturing process. You should set your oven to 450 degrees and let it run for an hour BEFORE using it to bake.

QuestionThe fan in the oven on this Samsung stove comes on whether we use the standard bake feature or the convection feature. Is this how it is supposed to work? Any other stove we have had has not the convection feature and did to have a fan.

- Answer I heard from Samsung support. They told me that the convection fan is always on while the oven is coming up to temperature. When using the standard Bake feature, the fan turns off after the oven comes up to temperature. When using the convection Bake feature, the fan comes on for 10 seconds and then goes off for 30-40 seconds during convection baking.

- Answer All I had to do was to cut the breaker off, unwire my old one and wire it to the new one. I was set up to wire it direct. If you have a plug on your old one, you should be able to unwire it from your old one and wire it to this one.
