It kind of depends on the range you're replacing. Convection isn't new tech by any means. So, stoves from over a decade ago were offered with that feature. A convection oven uses a fan to circulate hot air around the food, cooking it faster than a conventional oven. If you use the convection features, you can cut time by up to 25%, which saves power. If you want something that cooks things even faster. There are in-wall combi ovens which use microwave, convection and steaming technology together to cook foods. Pretty neat.
