“Will this tv fit on a surface that is 33.5 inches wide. I can't tell by the pictures of the TV stands that are mounted on each end of the TV instead of the middle.”

Barely, the total width is 3 feet 8 inches, the feet are 3 feet 3 inches apart on the outside, you would be cutting it really close. I put mine on a stand that is the same size as the total width.
