“Several people have said I need a USB wifi adapter? This TV has wifi built-in. It has never been on line. I have to watch Netflix via my play station hooked to tv. Please tell me what I need to do to get my tv on line so I can utilize "smart capabilities"”

I think many people do not realize that in order for the TV to see the Wi-Fi, the router or wireless AP has to be broadcasting the SSID. If the SSID is not being broadcast, the TV does not have a manual entry mode and you cannot program in the hidden SSID for the TV to connect. Some people find it easier to buy the ethernet to Powerline adapters and use a network cable instead of wireless.
