I think many people do not realize that in order for the TV to see the Wi-Fi, the router or wireless AP has to be broadcasting the SSID. If the SSID is not being broadcast, the TV does not have a manual entry mode and you cannot program in the hidden SSID for the TV to connect. Some people find it easier to buy the ethernet to Powerline adapters and use a network cable instead of wireless.
