• The base of the 50 in TV is 22.75in long by 9in wide. It sits easily and safely on my also 28 inch cabinet. I would not put it on a pedestal stand as that would be unstable

• 22.75 x 9. It is actually a real base, not like the new ones with only 4 little paw feet.
