“What are the recommended picture settings for this TV. My color is awful and can not get it set correctly. When first set up TV, picture was excellent. The cable box went out, and when the TV came back on, the color was different. I have tried to re-set, but nothing is making the picture look good. There is no red color, most o the color on the screen is purple, burnt orange, and yellow. Thnaks”

I think you have it set wrong on the picture options. You want to have it set to standard or auto. The settings I have that give it a beautiful clear picture are: Blacklight-10, Contrast-62, Bright-45, Sharp-85, Color-50 Tint-G58/42R, Dynamic Contrast-Off, Black Tone-Darkest, Motion-Off, Under Picture Options set color temp to Cool, Standard Picture and Clear Motion-Off. This should work

Patrick, You may wish to check if this is happening with other devices or on all inputs. It could be that the cable box needs an update, or to be replaced. Thanks for your interest in Samsung products. --Mr. S

this did happen to me one time about 2 yrs ago, but I think I just reset the colors to the manufactures recommendation then started playing with the colors and sharpness/contrast until I got it just right again.
