“Replacement for my 50" Samsung Plasma I have a Samsung Plasma TV that I LOVE.. I mean LOVE.. unfortunately it is a 2008 model (ancient for a TV I know) and the speakers don't work anymore without using a receiver. my receiver just bit the dust and examining cost of replacing TV and or receiver considering the speakers don't work. I hate some TVs have this hitchy look to the picture and my Samsung has never done that, it's been perfect for 8 years! I'm a little nervous to replace it as I'm reading that there are some clarity issues with high speed pictures. I cannot stand that odd looking picture quality that is hard to describe but I've seen it on MANY TVs lately. I love Samsung and would like to stay but will I be happy with this as my Plasma replacement? didn't see a non-smart TV option as my DVD player is smart so don't really have to have the smart option either.”
