I was told by the Geek Squad that Direct TV is the only service that is currently offering 4k channels. I have Comcast and it still looks pretty good. No internet sort of rules out the Smart aspect of the TV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would say NO, Its a smart tv - for those who use apps like netflix, hulu, you tube and to use these apps you need an internet connection. Most cable providers arent broadcasting in 4k. Some shows n movies on Netfliix are in 4k. I dont see why you want this tv is you dont have internet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That depends on you. This tv will upconvert most content to near 4k resolution. Your image should look a little cleaner with this television, no matter what you are watching. Also, depending on how long before the next generation of TV's featuring 8k, or something like that, take to come out, and how long you are willing to hold out. It's nice to have new things, but it is expensive to upgrade everytime something new comes out, which is bi-yearly or sooner. Lot's of things to consider.
