- Answer I had a 42" Sony flat screen in the spot where I have this television now. The Samsung is the same physical size as the Sony, with the difference being that my old tv had a wide frame around it, and the new one does not, thus allowing for a bigger picture in the same size tv. The stand is 32" at it's widest points.

- Answer Not sure about the iPad or Uverse, but my TV remote controls all functions of my Xfinity box and all my Samsung devices connect great.

- Answer We use Dish Network, and have not had any problems. No need to switch as long as you like your rates.

QuestionCan you "downgrade" the refresh quality from 120 to 60? Is that an option?

- Answer The refresh rate is already at 60 Hz. It's never gotten to 120 Hz on my tv. Besides, you would not want to downgrade, as motion blur would be more prevalent.

- Answer The refresh rate is 60 Hz. I don't know what motion rate is but assume it is a gimmick as all HDTV manufacturers have some name they use to imply a refresh rate that is higher than what is factual.
