• Yes, an outdoor antenna will work with this tv, we have an outdoor antenna also.

• Yes, works great with antenna, although i think plugged into cable jack. It actually scanned and found channels itself for us, without doing auto program. Also has onscreen guide, which is great (if this is your first Smart TV with antenna).
