• Uverse TV as well as any cable provider doesn't support true 1080 resolution as they are unable to carry that kind of picture quality through the lines so it is sent at a lower resolution then up scaled to 1080. So at least not anytime soon will they deliver 4k. You really get that from a Blu Ray player or Netflix (something that isnt delivered through a line that comes from underground to your TV). DirecTV and Dish Network can deliver true 1080 since they use satellite signals to deliver the picture to your home without any need for up scaling however I am not sure if they offer 4k yet.
