• The back of the set is also curved, so I doubt it would use the same mount.

• Plasma tv's are usually very thin and depending on mount may or may not work. Usually the specifications are on the mount and if specifically designed for plasma TV it may not work. Also the specs usually tell you up to what size tv it will fit. This is also a curved TV which requires more depth than a flat panel tv.

• It just depends on the sizing of the bracket. Some brackets are 32-70" brackets but if your bracket happens to be a 46"-75" then obviously you'd be fine. If it is just a 42" bracket then it wouldn't work, just spend the little extra money and get a new bracket that will hold the TV 100%
